The play “A Christmas Story” is a stage adaptation of one of Charles Dickens' most famous and beloved tales “A Christmas Carol”. It explores humanity's enduring hope in the redemptive power of goodness, highlighting the triumph of altruism, love, compassion, and forgiveness over selfishness, hostility, and greed.
As Christmas approaches, Ebenezer Scrooge, a miser consumed by his obsession with profit, is visited by three Spirits representing his past, present, and a grim future. They reveal the emptiness of his wealth-driven life and the heavy consequences of his greed.
Through this transformative journey, Scrooge learns to connect with others. His newfound
generosity and capacity for forgiveness free him from the oppressive chains of his avarice. His
remarkable change captures the true miracle of Christmas.
