by Alexandru Kirițescu.
Synopsis
A tragic comedy in two acts. The author critiques a society in the process of decay, a society clinging to
old forms of life, trapped in prejudices and formal traditions.
Humour is paramount, and the text aims to highlight the lack of culture among the wealthy, who seek
nothing but travel and spend their entire day doing absolutely nothing. The play presents the realities of
our world, regardless of the era.
